Our Purpose

First United Brethren Church exists to introduce people to Jesus Christ and guide them to become faithful followers of Him.

A Little History

First United Brethren Church began in 1926 as a meeting of like-minded Christians who gathered for prayer and worship. In 1940, they dedicated the building at 1330 E. Grand River Avenue in Lansing. It is the same building the church meets in today. We still strive to meet the needs of our community in the name of Jesus Christ.

What We're Like

The people at First United Brethren Church sometimes dress in bluejeans and t-shirts, but you'll also find people wearing suits and ties or dresses. Your presence is more important than how you dress. Some of the people who come have been Christians for years while others have just become Christians and have a lot of questions. We love them all. Our desire is to see people grow from wherever they are in their spiritual journey.
