Sundays at Our Church

Sunday School

On Sunday morning we offer Sunday school classes for every age at 10 a.m. The children meet downstairs for an opening and then go to their various classes. There is:

A nursery for young children.
A class for younger elementary children.
A class for upper elementary children.
A youth class that includes children in junior and senior high.

The adults go directly to their classes.

One adult class, a Bible study, meets upstairs in the sanctuary.
Another adult class meets downstairs. They often tackle subjects with the Bible as their guidebook.

Worship Service

The worship service begins at 11 a.m. It includes a mix of traditional music and contemporary worship songs, and a message from the pastor. The service typically lasts an hour.

About halfway through the service, children ages 4 through 4th grade are dismissed for Junior Church. There, they sing songs and learn about the Bible.

Nursery

At the back of the sanctuary, we have a small nursery for young children and nursing mothers. A bigger nursery in the basement is designed for more active children.

Parking

You can access the parking lot from Grand River Avenue. When you come up the steps at the front of the church through the double doors, you will enter the back of the sanctuary. Someone there will help you find whatever you are looking for.

For Persons with Disabilities

The church has a stair-trac which can assist people who don't maneuver stairs very well. This device can hook onto a manual wheelchair and safely take a person to either level of the church. If you need this kind of help, you will need to let someone know.
